Rubik’s Cube buildings

The invention of the Rubik’s Cube has inspired people to invent other similar puzzles. Could you believe that an actual person managed to transform a large building into looking like a Rubik’s Cube. The inventor also managed to create the building to actually make the moves of a Rubik’s Cube. I have seen a picture of this building online and you are able to also. It looks quite awesome especially in the night. The whole building just illuminates. This was a very clever invention and it would have required a huge budget to fund the project. I would never have believed this invention was possible. It would be very difficult for someone to pass this building without standing there and gazing at it. This is the largest Rubik’s Cube related invention I’ve ever seen. You’re unlikely to ever see a building like this again.

 Solving the Building puzzle

Since the moves on the building can be made in any direction, this enables the building to be solved by any of the Rubik’s Cube solving methods.

Due to the complexity of the operation and the size of the building, it would obviously take a lot longer for someone to solve than a Rubik’s Cube would. The colours of this gigantic Rubik’s Cube building are the same as a normal Rubik’s Cube.

Also the colours on the building would just be colours put down on it and not stickers. All the parts of the building cannot be disassembled like a Rubik’s Cube can be.

The Rubik’s Cube looking building will have middle pieces which are stationary on all the buildings sides. Each of these centre pieces will be of a different colour. I believe that in time people will improve the functioning of solving this gigantic Rubik’s Cube building.

Javier Lloret is a Spanish designer, who decided to turn a museum into a game. He decided to convert a museum into a giant sized Rubik’s Cube.

He also made it possible to solve this gigantic Rubik’s Cube. Solving a regular Cube has it’s challenges. This Rubik’s Cube building was set to create even more challenges. A hand held Cube was used to solve this Rubik’s Cube building.

You were only able to see two sides of the building at the same time. You are only able to see the other sides of the building by flipping the hand held Cube.

This gigantic Rubik’s Cube illuminates up beautifully in the night sky. The colors of this gigantic Rubik’s Cube are of all the original colors of the Rubik’s Cube.

Inventing the Rubik’s Cube building

Javier Lloret created a lot of excitement and attention by creating this building . Making use of the media facade of the Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria, he projected the Rubik’s Cube in a huge way by creating a building to look like one.

Onlookers and passers by were encouraged to solve the cube. To achieve this building a blank white cube with tracking systems was used. Then input information was fed to software which calculated where the colors would be on the cube.

This information was sent to the media facade of the Ars Electronica. This then allowed the users to determine the building – size puzzle with their hands.

This was a new aspect of solving the puzzle because only 2 sides could be seen at once. This is a more challenging way of solving the Rubik’s Cube . This also became a public and interesting event. Maybe one day they’ll create a Rubik’s Cube house.

Rubik’s Cube buildings

There have been numerous Rubik’s Cube related inventions, since the invention of the Rubik’s Cube.

Conclusion
An enormous amount of time and money must have gone into this project. The only problem is that I don’t believe that many people will get the opportunity to solve the Rubik’s Cube building.
